Brosna Capital is a small investment company with offices in Dublin and Florence.

We invest in profitable Irish or Italian growth companies valued at up to €10 million.

We only invest where we can own a controlling stake.

We are open to investing in businesses both where the founders/owners are looking to move on and also where experienced owners/management teams wish to rapidly expand their business.

Investment Philosophy

We invest:

In companies that are profitable, and have generated Free Cash Flow for at least 3 years,

Are valued up to €10 million,

Have a diverse revenue / customer base,

Where we believe we can add significant value working with or strengthening the existing management team.

  • and Business Services.

Time Horizon

We invest for the long term and want to build shareholder value through improving the trading positions of businesses, helping them reach new customers through investment in product, geographical expansion and operational efficiency.

We are primarily investing our own capital so do not have a short term focus or a requirement to sell the business after a number a years as is typical for Private Equity funds. We invest for the long term seeking to realise returns through value creation and dividends.

To be supportive partners

  • We believe that only by working with and backing great people can we be successful.
  • We are happy to either support our portfolio businesses either through executive management roles or simply contribute as non-executives depending on the business requirements.

To add value

  • To help our company managers maximise the value of their businesses, where possible we actively contribute through support, guidance, introductions and advice.
  • Our management team and advisors are available to help understand the opportunities and challenges facing our portfolio managers.

Integrity and honesty

  • Though all our dealings with a management team, a seller or their advisers, we aim to be open, honest and show complete integrity at all times.

Investing for the long term

  • We are looking to build a portfolio of businesses and relationships and take a long-term approach to how we invest in and build our businesses.

"Previous Investments"

We were founding investors in IFP Investments Limited (IFPIL), and through IFPIL were investors and are still investors in a range of manufacturing business in Ireland and the UK including:

Irish Flexible Packaging and Fispak from 2019,

Ace Corrugated, Craftpak Protective, Walsh Packaging, Grafham Holdings in 2023,

& Triflex Packaging in 2024.

We will look at any new opportunities in the Packaging space only through IFPIL


Managing Partner - Victor Corcoran

Victor is the former CEO of a number of consumer technology companies. Most recently Victor was CEO of Fortuna Entertainment Group an online led betting and gaming business operating across 5 Central European countries. Previously he managed the Paddy Power (Online betting and Gaming business) across United Kingdom and Ireland.

He was CEO and investor in XSellco Software Limited (eDesk) a successful Dublin based Software as a Service company which provides a variety of solutions to the ecommerce industry. Earlier in his career Victor worked in a range of technical and commercial management roles in telecommunication businesses across a range of counties including Italy.

He is a Director and founding member of IFP Investments Limited, who own a range of manufacturing businesses in both the UK and Ireland.

He is married to a Italian lady and is a native English speaker with excellent Italian.
